Prior to directing, Giles was Creative Partner at Unit9 London. There he worked on various prestigious film projects, including ‘Guinness – Paint the Town Black’, ‘Fosters – Good Call Centre’ and ‘Old Spice – Gentleman Hunt’, collectively winning multiple awards.

In 2013 he was approached to join the advertising agency, Alpha Century. There for close to five years he worked as Creative Director, collaborating regularly with Virgin Atlantic, Toshiba, Victoria Plum, Addison Lee, Sofology, Cunard and many others. And it was there that he readily took on the invitation to direct the key films, and began to build up his showreel.

In 2018 he decided to fully transition away from agency life, and to concentrate solely on directing. He has since enjoyed a great success of shooting regularly, and crafting his reel to where it is today. His strength is visual story telling, luxury lifestyle, and travel. His joy is bringing to this, progressive and interesting camera and storytelling techniques.
